To put this in scale, Elon Musk's salary from Tesla alone could fund the SNAP program for the entire country into 2034.

Hot tip for sourcing food to donate to your food pantry- shop CVS for cereal. I shopped their two for $5 deal and got 6 boxes for $15. PLUS I signed up for their rewards program which gives me a $4 coupon for next time #foodpantry

“Just go to a food bank, a church or a charity”

For every meal the food bank provides, the SNAP program provides 9.

Even if donations are rapidly scaled up, they won’t be able to meet the needs of 42 million Americans who are about to go hungry.

It’s not sustainable.

GOP’s labor market policy is market protectionism for white men.
"For the first time since the 1960s, the earnings gap between men and women has widened two years in a row...with women earning 80.9 cents for every dollar a man earned in 2024. That compares to women earning 84 cents for every dollar a man earned in 2022."

Seeing that Janet Mills has entered the senate race in Maine when Graham Platner has already ignited such support (+ a stronger progressive candidate) is classic DNC nonsense

Did they learn nothing from Biden? Are they learning nothing from Cuomo

The way to win is to have progressive candidates

Every fall we pick “drops” from a local orchard = sooo much cheaper! And so far this year we’ve made:

12 gallons of cider
9 quarts of applesauce
1 large apple pie
1- 4 trays of dried apples in the dehydrator

And we still have a sink left of apples to process!
