A Caregiving Comfort: More
Sometimes You Just Crave More When you're a family caregiver, you crave more—more time, more money, more support that actually helps. But when that good stuff feels out of reach, it's easy to reach for something else instead: more sweets, more scrolling, more of whatever numbs the stress. In this week's Caregiving Comfort, we explore what happens when you end up with more of what hurts instead of more of what helps. Discover how adding in less of what drains you can create space for what truly nurtures you—and why your feelings and stress deserve real care, not just quick fixes. Good morning! A tough time can feel like enduring loss and after loss. When you wonder if a win will ever arrive, you can feel stuck waiting. Rather than wait, simply give yourself a win. You have overcome many, many challenges that deserve a celebration.

Good morning! Today, I hope you receive change, like unexpected pennies from heaven, an improvement in a relationship or a better way to complete a task. I hope the change brings you hope.

A Caregiving Comfort: Done
You're done. Just done. Done doing it all on little sleep and with little help. Done trying, deciding, worrying, and supporting. In this episode, we explore what it means to feel completely finished and why that feeling deserves acknowledgment, not judgment. When you're so exhausted you can barely imagine continuing, it's not about your To Do list. It's about you.  Listen as we talk about giving yourself permission to be done, to release the weight of expectations, and to simply be for a few moments. Because sometimes, being allows you to continue. This week's comfort: You can be done without self-judgment. You can give yourself a break. And in those quiet moments of rest, you can just be. Weapon of the day: when you run into a wall, sit down for a minute. Take stock. Make sure nothing is broken, then get up slowly. Don’t brush off the impact.

The only thing that would save #bb27 #bigbrother27 for me is if Morgan took Ashley to final two lol but that will never happen

Haha! This gave me the idea to narrate this feeding like a nature documentary, where they are talking while playing back footage of observing animals in the wild. Check it out - the rarely observed Sordidus Vorax feeding in the big brother house... #bb27

I wish.
Weapon of the day: if you feel something say something. Feeling in silence can end up in a scream. Caregivers are allowed to have feelings too. Big ones.

Weapon of the day: exhaustion needs respect. It always has a good reason to appear. Don’t fight it, don’t question it. Listen to it, honor it and take care of it.

Bluesky is not twitter because we block losers before we even see their sad attention seeking. Think of it as vaccinating your account. Here’s an example:

1. Go to @skywatch.blue
2. Tap Lists and scroll down to MAGA
3. Tap subscribe & then block accounts.
4. All the magas now rot on the vine

Weapon of the day: it’s not about the good days or the bad days. It’s about the days in between. The balancing days when we show up without the glory or the fight to inspire us. It’s these days that make us heros and Caregiver Warriors.
