In 4 days I’ve written over 20,000 words. This is a record for me 🫠 This book is about queer cowboy vampires but it ended up being a lot spicier than I had intended… Anyway, it’s a productive way of dealing with the holiday blues I guess

I'm just taking an unexpected little break from social media b/c Christmas time is a very hard time for me and I'm always alone through it. Every year I think it'll be different, I try to have a more positive experience, but... when people are gone they're gone. Nothing makes up for that.

One of my favourite things is thrifting books with notes like this. “Terrible writing”, “exposition via bard”, I love it lol 🤣 They stopped after a few pages so I guess they hated it so much they didn’t get past chapter 1 (then gave it to the thrift store where I got it! The great circle of life…)

The year is 2035. There are three game studios left. Each one produces a game every 10 years, killing 250+ developers in the process. They all accidentally make the same game because they used genAI in preproduction. They sell 500 million units each, missing quarterly targets. Everyone is laid off.

Flash freeze followed by a blizzard = car didn’t want to start today, but it reluctantly did (thankfully!) 🥶 Also gloves + weird way I hold a pencil + constant shivering = drawing even more difficult today. I settled on what I call “shaky flowers” lol (mostly drawn with a single line)
