I see a lot of people not liking SS86 Devastator. Which is completely valid! Not everyone’s cup of tea. But I’ve also seen a few bad faith arguments regarding it. So if anyone still cares, I’ll rate every character individually. They are far from perfect. But for a mainline toy, it works well enough
6. SS86 Devastator - A figure def worth more than the sum of his parts. The individual bots aren't amazing, but also not terrible. (People were expecting WAY to much.) They honestly feel solid, and make an even more solid gestalt that's fun to pose. They took what worked from CW and made it better.

Still in a Mighty Orbots mood... Japanese dubs of this show are so rare, I was only able to find two back in the day on Youtube. So here's the intro summary in Japanese with unique logo. Interestingly, they refer to each of the Orbots as a cyborg. Bort as henshin cyborg 🤔 lol #mightyorbots

Bandai/Popy made God Mars. They made Gobot's Puzzler. And thru @/Matt_Alt on Twitter, apparently Bandai was gonna help make the Orbots toys! I inquired, and apparently, some old Bandai staff/contractors met up to show off some old prototypes! Including the person who designed Mighty Orbots. So cool!

I almost forgot.. TFA sorta rekindled my love for Mighty Orbots. DJW’s designs were so wonderful it lead me down a path to adoring the show. It’s these little moments of inspiration that can lead to something special for someone else 💙

finished my exercise bike watch of MACHINE ROBO. ah yes, finally, an anime robot series that focuses on the ROBOTS instead of the HUMANS
a fun, silly ride throughout. i liked the one robot dude dressed as kamen rider, and the way they kept sneaking the TARDIS sound effect into the mix

I def gonna tune into this. Yesterday I heard the tragic news that the organizer of this Kickstarter, Albert Penello, sadly passed away.. he wanted to see this to the end. Theres about $42k left so there’s still time to fund it and help achieve his dream. Rest in peace, Albert 💙
