We really are living in a wild time.
I feel this in my soul. The current public punishment of Black women has so many ripple effects. So many. And we don’t deserve any of this.
Black women have every right to be furious. The irresponsible choices of white voters has for many of us, taken our livelihood with consequences for our homes, the education of our children, our ability to care for parents.
It’s unconscionable.

It's no coincidence that after those pieces ran about Black women and educational attainment so many people were happy to join dogpiles to drive Black women out of the academy, politics, the workplace...so of course we're going to be made the face of DEI. Have to point the attacks at someone.
