Proud of @faezehjame.bsky.social and our latest paper on upregulation by #miRNA. miRNA upregulate protein expression of CD98hc, ST3GAL1 and ST3GAL2 in a coordinated manner. Regulation is bidirectional, changing the picture on how these #RNA work. #glycotime

We recorded a podcast episode about the research on gender and math ability yesterday. I did so much research for it I felt overwhelmed trying to summarize it. These issues and discriminatory experiences are too massive -- like they destabilize you with their gravity.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

People are willing to forgo a significant portion of their earnings—between 12-36% of their wages—to avoid hostile work environments.

Women exhibit a stronger aversion to exclusionary workplaces and environments with sexual harassment.
