I've a passion for WoW, DnD and developing my own stories. I'm an aspiring comic creator working on my comic project "Kissi" (WIP name), set in my Ravenheart universe.

It's today! "Despite, despite, despite" is out! The shortbox comic fair is live (October 1st to 31st) "Despite, despite, despite" is a 44 pages digital comic. A couple of little of little digs in a big city are going through a rough patch. Bug recently lost his job and Milo works to support them both Despite it all, they keep going. Today's destination? The supermarket. Preview page from the comic showing Bug under his covers on his phone. Milo is calling to him and eventually climbs onto the bed to kiss Bug on his cheek. Miło and Bug are in line at the pharmacy. In a near aisle Bug spots a pink poodle pharmacist helping a man put on his new arm brace.

I’ve been really quiet over here because of big life changes cropping up this autumn - the biggest of which was putting down my dog, my sweet furry baby, in September. I’ve a hole the size of him in my heart right now, so things are bound to be quieter for a time still.

I think nothing beats reading out my comic script to my best friend and having her react to it live. Seeing and hearing your own text make someone laugh or make faces or do a silent scream - it feels *so* rewarding.

...it was really difficult finding artwork specifically from 2019 - plenty in 2018 and 2020, but very few in 2019 😳
