The things I wish to highlight from my bsky 2025 ✨

The way the year "dims" in Q3 is so telling, and heartbreaking, and just. Yeah. At the start of the year, I had plans that Q3 was going to be the release of Ravenheart into the world. The ways life comes at you, huh?

Under Vincke, Larian has been pushing hard on generative AI, although the CEO says the technology hasn't led to big gains in efficiency. He says there won't be any AI-generated content in Divinity - "everything is human actors; we're writing everything ourselves" - but the creators often use AI tools to explore ideas, flesh out PowerPoint presentations, develop concept art and write placeholder text. The use of generative Al has led to some pushback at Larian, "but I think at this point everyone at the company is more or less OK with the way we're using it," Vincke said.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

A couple of little of little digs in a big city are going through a rough patch. Bug recently lost his job and Milo works to support them both Despite it all, they keep going. Today's destination? I’ve been really quiet over here because of big life changes cropping up this autumn - the biggest of which was putting down my dog, my sweet furry baby, in September. I’ve a hole the size of him in my heart right now, so things are bound to be quieter for a time still.
