Finished the Dragonlance trilogy which is best summed up as “What if Aragorn (Tanis) and Gandalf (Raistlin) were messy bitches who lived for unnecessary drama?”

I’d play the heck out of a TTRPG about a group of ghosts haunting the abandoned mall they used to work at as retail

Union organizing is a great case study in organizing together across difference and distrust and in the process finding ways to shift people’s political orientation (which is one reason conservatives hate unions!)

Godzilla vs. Hedorah is incredibly weird. It has a lot of hippies, animated montages and kaiju body fluids.

Seeing a twist coming from half a novel away can be deflating but it’s a credit to the author and the tale that I’m still eager to read. Mercy of the Gods is a good book.

The final Murderbot novella, “System Collapse”, is not connecting with me as much as the first five. Throughout the series has done a great job of providing a distinct POV and it muddles the clarity of that a bit through the PTSD/hallucinations handling. Still a great tale, just not the height.
