This old crab apple tree is slowly, gently swallowing the sawmill. It's been very polite about it, growing over the top and around the sides without reaching inside the structure. Only a few more months before I get to listen to the apples thumping off the roof. 🥰

2 days ago, a lifelong friend of mine died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism secondary to Covid-19. He was 44 years old, and father to 2 children. He was a firefighter, a gamer, a Ren faire performer, an all-around geek, and a truly kind, gentle person. His name is Tony, and I'm going to miss him.
