they *have* to be aware at this point, right? this must be some kind of wink-wink dogwhistling, right?

if you say "work will make you free" with a straight face in the context of deporting people I *have* to presume that's intentional - albeit horrible - because the alternative is way much scarier

"The evaluation did not find evidence that time savings have led to improved productivity"

the evaluation also did not find any workable definition of "productivity", because no company / public structure has one and probably never will

Claude codes access to Claude API into smart contract, Genetic Programming of Doom ensues, steals and loses all cryptodudes wallets, cryptodudes go broke or extinct, without bros hyping Claude finally dies a quiet cold death

same as in my proposing speech to my (future ex) wife!
"look, honey: I'm a good Christian, I pay taxes, I recycle properly, I smile to people. Yes, I occasionally need to brutally murder and chop up a homeless person. but if you're not 'only searching for perfection' I think we can make this work!"

"I know nazis broke into our bar and started to punch and stab everybody: I know you're angry, I'm angry too. but please stay in your seat and wait to be stabbed: this former-non-nazi bar will stay a beacon of taste and understatement, don't give them the satisfaction to stoop down to their level"

I really miss "tcrai_scanner", a now-SLAPPed-offline italian account that used to review clearly made-up anecdotes on Twitter in the language of snobby/artsy movie critics

We need to get beyond the arguments of "computer that works" and develop a new equilibrium in terms of our “theory of the mind” that accounts for humans being equipped with these new OSs that spy you 24/7, don't work for shit but are also riddled with ads.

(also, good luck getting some RAM ahaha)
