Not saying I ate my body weight in calamari, but I ate my body weight in calamari 🤣🦑

Would recommend Kapari and Ouzaki in Kolympia, Apollo Bar in Lindos.

The buffet in our hotel was pretty good too.

Back in rainy London from a dreamy week of S&S (sun and shut down) in Rhodes.

A beautiful island to explore if you love history, beaches, scenic forests and mountain drives, or just need to escape city life.

It’s the week of my sister’s death anniversary and I’ve been triggered extra this year after being in a health event.

Grief, the bitch, is catching up.

Today, a colleague who was with me when Kaye died gave me this.

Kindness, just like heartache, can be so overwhelming.

I've been holding this in *all* day, but you know, another manifestation of 'geeks love genre! They'll buy all the genre they can eat!' that gives you 'HBO stretching out The Last of Us Part 2 over an indefinite number of seasons' and 'HBO trying to do Harry Potter on a eight hour per book basis'.
Weird consequence of genre snobbery is that a lot of people, including people who make and commission art, basically have a “I don’t like sci-fi or fantasy” view and are incapable of accepting that something they like is fantasy or science fiction, and acting accordingly.
Aren't TV networks actively searching for the next GoT? Seems like a missed opportunity

Very much enjoying the #Wimbledon Men’s Singles finals, and couldn’t be more happier that Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are both in the finals.

Still not sure how this will pan out but both gentlemen are playing so well, it’s quite the thriller. Whoever wins deserves it.

An incredibly short but extremely sweet 5 days spent with family in Hong Kong and Macau. Have missed the city and how vibrant it is.

But nothing compares to spending time with family.

My heart ached, soared, and raced through this story. I didn’t want it to finish, but had to have a moment for the fallen stars I met along the way, and the redemption song ringing in my ears in the end.

Made me appreciate family more.

This all sounds completely right from @johnharris1969.bsky.social. Labour has a narrative right there that would energise its base, benefit the economy, and allow it to attack Reform. Utterly self defeating that it often sounds ambivalent towards its green plans.

So a patient known to be unable to speak being sent repeated telephone appointment letters. Number to call on the letter is of course not correct. Given an alternative that just rings out. No email address.

This is simple stuff that magnified across the NHS has huge impact.
