Every now and then some GC will post that they went to a party and it turned out everyone secretly shares their views on trans+ folks. They never seem to understand that a party is a self-selecting group of people who can stand to be around them. It shows that their friends are cowardly bigots.

Hi folks, I was asked to play paparazzo at the Notts Pride Winter Ball last Friday, now I have some lovely pics of about 300 people. I'm not sharing anything without consent, if anybody remembers being papped by a long-haired bear in a trenchcoat drop me a message and I'll send you any pics I have.

It's interesting to see people who escaped hate movements and I thought the through-line of connection was well identified.
I feel the solution will be a reality that's better than the lies hate groups offer.

You smile at a cat by looking at them and slow blinking your eyes, if they return the gesture they're happy and comfortable with you.
I learned this in my early 20s and internalised it to the point that I often accidentally do it to people.

Listening to the audiobook of Cultish by Amanda Montell for free through Nottingham City Libraries audiobook service, it's great so far but I always wince a bit when I hear the word clique in an American accent. Oh and her dad's called Craig - or possibly kreg.

Still recovering from surgery, I had time to develop some photos, here's Tansy asleep in a patch of sunshine. Taken with a Pentax MX and 40mm f2.8 on Fuji Arcos II, developed in Rodinal. I've never used either before and I love the contrast and detail.
