I seem to be alone in this, but I miss when the Olympics were connected every four years, instead of Winter being in 4k+2 and Summer being in 4k (k€Z).

I kind of would like to almost create multiple shards of persona here. One for keeping aware of current events. One to stay away from current events in order to maintain some sense of mental well-being.

Went back to Final Fantasy I. My party of Bartz(Red mage), Terra(Black Mage), Aerith(White Mage) and Rinoa(Black Mage) got from where I left them in Pravoka to the Marsh cave. It is interesting to think that I was last 'here' twenty years ago, and first 'here' over thirty five years ago...

It is interesting. When I was young, I traded to read non fiction histories, and sf books that were generally for someone much older.
Now I find myself reading light fantasy novels for teens.
Then again, considering what I see and where things are going... Wanting to escape to fantasy makes sense.
