Along the similar lines, Cary Elwes and Mandy Patinkin practiced their duel so much that when they filmed it they had to add bits because they had gotten so fast/good with it. (Princess Bride)

Oh? How does one find out what lists that they are on?

Yep. I think that I have listened to the two Fallout videos on the main channel more than anyone who has not actually played a fallout game yet.

Listening to it as background? For whatever reason, I also tend to have this and the main channel on while getting work done.

Very enjoyable. =)

I hope that you enjoyed it. My wife and I did a theater showing all three extended editions back to back to back. We knew that we would regret it and it was amazing

Eh, we remember both.
It is odd to remember that in one gaming setting, 2012 was ...

Actually, it is interesting to think of all of the 'future' stories that would now be in the past..
Escape from New York, the Postman, Running Man, Blade Runner, and of course Death Race 2000..

I thought that it was supposed to be 2012?

We decided about 25 years ago after watching the extended Fellowship and Towers in theaters before a pre release of Return of the King to never do this again. We are also older than we were back then. But.. we are doing it anyway

I feel bad, because I did try it out for a while and it was fun to play with.
Sometimes I think that it would be fun to play with again, but I do not know how to feel about it so I set it aside.

Yeah, but do you know who is -really- to blame?
January 13, 2026 at 1:39 AM
The part that concerns me... Is in how few days we will have completely forgotten one of these due to all that is about to happen -_-

I have seen others present it as an aspect of "American Exceptionalism" Exceptionally good, exceptionally bad, exceptionally corrupt... The greatest rise, the greatest fall...
January 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM
And -that- list, I fear, would be out of date enough that in even ONE WEEK, there would be something on that list that I had already forgotten had happened due to things that haven't even happened yet
January 8, 2026 at 10:01 PM
Even with the most recent...things, I honestly can not pick the one thing that most depresses me. Or even get started on a top ten list. I would have to put in a lot of effort to just tier the most shocking thing in the last hundred hours.

It is just a continuation over the (unfortunately working) if you do all the things, people can't focus on one of them.
