Got told I passed probation today. Not really surprised, but I'd been trying not to jinx it.
Got a nice pay rise for passing probation too, so very pleased about it all.

The repeated infantilisation of Riho, a grown ass woman and near twenty year veteran, says for more about her detractors than it does Riho, and it's very odd that they so often view joshi wrestlers (and joshi wrestling as a whole) through the lens they do.

I really recommend Lingodeer as a language learning app. They keep on adding features, their most recent is videos to their review quizzes so you can hear the different expressions from native speakers at a natural cadence.
I've had it for years & found paying for the lifetime access very worth it.

One of the things that has been annoying me lately is how so much of the wrestling community allowed the most tedious old fart podcasters to gaslight us into believing that Riho isn't a very good pro wrestler. The first part of her AEW title run was a lot of fun, and she was really over for a while.
