In realtà mi piacerebbe fare anche un gruppo di lettura di giapponese, stile quelli tadoku, almeno forse avrei un po' di costanza XD

È qualche giorno che sto pensando di fare una rivista online, in PDF, da e per gente appassionata, ma qualcuno avrebbe voglia di contribuire? Su temi tipo: manga BL, yuri, josei, fandom, io vorrei impaginare che a scrivere non sono il massimo e dopo 2000 battute mi inaridisco XD

OH, Look! Another game translated by magic!

This right here is quite dangerous in these times. Why? By erasing us translators from our jobs it makes it easier to replace us with GenAI.

We've always been invisible. That gave them a leverage in introducing MTPE and lowering our rates.
Nioh 3, developed by Koei Tecmo and localized in 11 languages, does NOT feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits. A few members of Localization staff are included in the LQA credits, but none of the actual translators are credited. Source: GamersPrey

More people need to boycott Amazon. I don't care how convenient it is, it's not worth it.

Anche la mia vuole essere una nota: forse una persona non fa domande perché non sa nemmeno che domande fare. Che noia sti appunti passivi aggressivi continui cacchioooo

Ahahah one of the many words that get The Aura only because they're Japanese, same thing happens in so many Italian articles and contents
So sick and tired of the "tsundoku means the art of buying books you don't read" rubbish. It's a "to-read pile." Japanese people use that word the same way English people do. It's not some mystical ancient Japanese "art" of anything.

Tra ieri e oggi mi son fatta fuori 271 pagine. Applausi per me, almeno sta volta visto che pensavo di non farcela. Ora: bandella.

If you read a translated book, or poem, or anything, and the words move you or the prose excites you: remember the translator.
Because those words are theirs. The original text is the plan. It lays out the structure and the goal, but the translator makes the choices that get you there.

If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself to stop being so scared of reading Japanese novels and just do it. It'll be difficult at first but will get easier and your Japanese will get so much better faster.
