This weekend I graduated from the @denverzoo.bsky.social Docent class of 2026! This months-long course was 75+ hours of work. Research, being mentored by other docents, and learning about concepts like teaching with empathy and conservation optimism. Looking forward to interpretation at DZCA!

It's opening weekend of Lake Winnebago sturgeon spearing, so I sketched a sturgeon! This is the largest and best managed Lake Sturgeon population in the world and supports a 16 day fishery each year. If harvest quotas are approached, the season closes the next day. #SundayFishSketch
