I certainly hope this isn't the last issue and I would encourage everyone who sees this post to buy the latest issue from @wyrdscience.bsky.social and other zines such as those produced by @nmtdrzine.bsky.social. Both great reads and it's really important to try and keep them in print.

it's also - & I'm definitely burying this where almost no one will read it - looking quite like our last issue, our costs won't stop rising, sales are rough & we're so off the radar of most the industry its laughable, just trying to get press releases is a mission

Seeing them in the cinema again just made me think how much better practical effects-ship models, the animatronic and costume aliens, and the miniatures often age so much better than CGI.
Gotta say, seeing Alien and Aliens on the big screen again was awesome.
