Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

As a principled libertarian, I believe that anyone who doesn't immediately do what ICE says should be shot dead. And as a principled states' rights advocate, I believe that the federal government should not allow states to prosecute these shootings.

I don't think astronauts should be afforded health privacy. Any health conditions that arise from space travel are part of the public interest, and that's what you give up when you fly up their on taxpayer dollars.

The strategic move Ukraine figured out a few months ago is that they could agree to virtually any US demand, knowing Putin will reject every single offer. That has now made it virtually impossible for Trump/Vance to convince anyone that Ukrainian intransigence is the issue here.
