I think the phrase Join a union is the perfect service unionism phrase. Akin to: Take out housing insurance or join in sending your MP a sternly worded letter.
We shouldn't _join_ a union, we have to be the union and organise with non-union people in our workplaces.

Just look at Northern Ireland’s persecution of LGBTQ+ people compared to Ireland on this map. Nowhere is Britain’s insular depravity on LGBTQ+ rights more on display than my island. Britain is an ugly death knell for human rights, human decency, progressiveness and basic safety.

Minorities deserve equal participation in society. This shouldn't be a controversial statement. Attacks on trans people, migrants and women are destined to reduce our involvement in public and private institutions furthering negative actions against us all.
