🇨🇦 Never vote Conservative. Carney for PM.

For a GOP president—after the Iraq War—to say outright that invading Venezuela is all about oil is wild. But it is. It’s also about corruption, power, graft, and land. And we should take him at his word.

In case you’re wondering why Republicans insisted on keeping his testimony behind closed doors.🤔🚪

Perhaps the same people can vote to replace the Speaker of the House.
Massive defeat for Mike Johnson. Still has to clear the senate, but this is what Dems wanted all along. Johnson has essentially lost control of the gavel after Epstein and now this. Weakest speaker in history.

Apparently we’ve established that if the US can seize the largest tanker off Venezuela, it can just as easily seize a small, alleged drug boat without murdering the occupants.

I am also Canadian, and have not set foot in the USA since Trump was elected the first time. At my age, I never will.
As a Canadian who frequently travelled and spent winter vacations in Florida and Arizona. Those days are gone.
We won’t be going back.

The Trump administration plans to require all foreign tourists to provide their social media histories from the last five years to enter the country.

Yes, I said TOURISTS — not immigrants. This is insane. It will DECIMATE the U.S. tourism industry.

Carney so far seems as though he's guiding the country using common sense and pragmatism rather than party ideology. That's good for everyone, and it will keep Conservatives away from power. Win/Win.

Susan Delacourt: Mark Carney’s embrace of Liberal enemies could be a good thing for all of us
Whether it’s making a deal with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith or playing to the “bro” culture, the prime minister is determined to cosy up to the Liberals’ old, harshest critics.

Yes: Trump is weaponizing hunger against millions of Americans, including children, to score cheap political points.

The cruelty is endless.

If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

Who would have guessed that a 34x convicted felon and court adjudicated rapist would also be a proud war criminal.

Republicans in office can stop this. Literally just a handful. Corporate dems need to stop being the appeasement party and actually be the opposition party. What else needs to happen?

BREAKING: Trump’s Ukraine ‘Ultimatum/Peace Deal' Is a $2 Trillion Cash Grab for Trump, Putin and Their Pals
So it turns out Donald Trump’s big plan to “end” the Russia‑Ukraine war isn’t really about peace. It’s about getting rich off the rubble and the bones of Ukraine's war dead.

It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

• Ordinary criminals (grift and corruption).

• Sex criminals.

• War criminals.
