Game demos being delisted is something that developers should not be doing. The whole point of it was to give players a free sample of the game to try it out before they buy it.
It also helps to reduce piracy a bit because there's people who do it for that reason alone, not to screw devs over.

It would be really funny if I see the Mario Galaxy movie on April 2nd.
