I guess if you’re blowing up boats with high tech weapons- that’s pretty much kill them all? Why the dance with words?

This might sound very simplistic- but instead forking out $56b per annum on weapons, how about we just tell the US of Arseholes, hey, we’ll give you Pine Gap, access to our ports but the onus is on you to protect/defend it?
