Anyway I don't get political on here too often but occasionally something will come to me in my shower thoughts and I'll post about it.
Equally shower thoughts might be about a junior hockey team's defensive weaknesses.

I'm seeing a few people over on the other side who would rather have 50,000 followers and 5 iffy engagements per post over there than 500 followers and 10 solid engagements per post over here.
Don't underestimate the value some place on follower count over follower quality.

So here's my take on Musk/Trump. I think both wants to be a global dictator and thinks the other can help achieve that.
I also think that Musk has already outmanoeuvred Trump but the latter and his loyalists haven't realised it.
The first 100 days are going to be interesting through that lens.

This is my exact experience with hockey twitter.
It's so nice to have a place again where we can discuss the things we love without random people with names like wankmaster69 appearing from nowhere and yelling abuse at us.
It's lovely to not feel defensive and exhausted in the place we gather.

This is how it has felt for a whole lot of Baseball Twitter.
And if I'm honest with myself, there hasn't been a "Baseball Twitter" in the way I remember it for a very long time. Just a shitty, shitty place called X.

I basically stopped making original posts on Twitter a few years ago because of how hostile it was there. I just became a serial reposter and replier. I'm going to try to be more proactive here and get back to posting again.
