Very sad news. I was lucky to meet Hugh a couple of times back in the mid 1990s. He used to visit the school where I taught, in his role as cricket development officer. Always happy to have a chat and was great with the kids. A real gent. 62 is far too young.

Alcohol shouldn't be served at airports or on planes. If you can't get through a few hours without a drink you have a problem. Other passengers and staff shouldn't have to deal with abusive and obnoxious people who have been drinking since the early hours
