I know Mike Flanagan and Stephen King love each other very much, but I kinda feel like if Frank Darabont has adapted a Stephen King story that one is now off the board.

I know Mike Flanagan and Stephen King love each other very much, but I kinda feel like if Frank Darabont has adapted a Stephen King story that one is now off the board.
I like Flannigan a lot, but I'm not sure how you improve on the 2007 movie. The ending to that (which, btw, was *not* the ending to the novella) hits like a fucking freight train and I don't know what could improve upon it.
