In an interesting turn of events, US and Danish government came up with the same to help with the affordability crisis: longer mortgages!

That has sparked some backlash. But in the US, it seems the discussion is focusing on the wrong stuff.

Overskriften her viser meget godt problemet med adgangskvotienten som mål for hvor svært det er at komme ind: "Landets højeste snit" er vel strengt taget så Arkitekt i Aarhus, der kun optager gennem kvote 2 (uendelig høj? udefineret?)
Hun har søgt uddannelse med landets højeste snit og venter nu spændt
26 personer blev i år indkaldt til samtale på Det Kongelige Akademis beklædningsdesign og tekstil-uddannelse. Rosa Marie Nørregaard Fenger var en af dem. Nu venter hun på svar.

My personal modest take and feelings about this.
The discussion ending at this tweet is very smart on both sides ( @lugaricano.bsky.social and @shengwuli.bsky.social ), reasonably spicy, and fun to read.
I don't think the argument for the price system rests on full information. I think it rests on Hayek 1945, hence precisely on dispersed local knowledge --i said that before. But let's leave it here. I think we clarified quite a bit, and I hope some of our readers (if there are any!) learned a bit.
