I finished painting a panel on my desk and wanted to share. Decided to make some fake drink ads for each segment, and I'm proud of what I came up with. Hope you enjoy :)

©COME Corporation 1969 (Nice) Ad for Come (I've been pronouncing it as 'Koh-Meh' but it's still funny as cu-) from Mother2/Earthbound. I wanted to combine both versions that appear on the red truck and make the little stick man that appears in the US version the mascot for it. [I don't know what the Japanese texts says, all I know is I think the white text means "Cheers" and comes from a Coca-Cola ad and the black text comes from a bottle of Coca-Cola Plus. Thought it would be fitting since the Come Trucks from Mother2 are Coke parodies] King Dedede's Seal of "It's Alright" Pep Brew (It's just called Energy Drink now and that saddens me :/ ) from the Kirby series. I love Kirby and have a WIP of a different Pep Brew ad I want to make, which sorta inspired this version. I already thought of more versions of the logo used which I may post as it's own thing like this is a brand that's changed over the years. I really like the joke I made with the 'Seal of Approval', instead being a 'Seal of "It's mid"' Wait, what do you mean people drink this stuff!? THIS IS MOTOR OIL! STOP DRINKING IT!! E-Tank from the MegaMan Series. I struggled a bit to come up with a third drink ad with one just having the last be something else entirely or ShroomShake from Paper Mario. In the end I went with this because I don't have a lot of things for MegaMan in my living space, even though it's one of my favorite series, and wanted to do more blending and shading with paint. I also really wanted to make the "STOP DRINKING MOTOR OIL!" joke since this is supposed to be an ad. This is just it fully installed and why it was separated into 3 segments

I still have to use Windows for some things and it seems to be just about every day now I'm seeing complaints about it sucking in new ways. So here's a little list of tools I use to make Windows not suck by debloating virtually everything out of it that makes it bad and making it more usable. 🧵
Someone complaining that MS Paint removed itself then when they went to the Microsoft Store to install it, it says "The version of Windows on your PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements for this product."

Starting part of my New Years Resolution early (It's post more online cuz I always go "maybe not" when I want to). Mini art update: Redesigned 2 old WIPs, got 1 done and lost motivation on 2nd, started a new piece which rekindled work on old 1. Here is the base/color coding and hint for next piece

Thinkin bout how this year is the first one Im gonna fail my new years resolution since it's-*checks notes*-NOVEMBER?! Then again it was the impossible task of finishing all my old WIPs so I'll post the rough/super rough drafts for the one's I'm gonna try to work on before the end of the year

Super Rough Draft of a "Pep Brew" ad. Thought I at least "finalized" the logo design but apparently not. Text reads 'Enjoy PepBrew' The original WIP I redid for my desk. Will be the one I work and probably be the only one that gets done before the year ends🙃 Rougb Draft Ad for "Maxim Tomatoes" with text reading 'Garden Fresh Maxim Tomato' Thinking about how I had to look up the most common name for this food item since I've seen it called 'Metamato' and 'Max Tomato' Rough Draft for a "Game Over Fighting Game Screen" for the Yo-yo ability. Text reads 'Retire? Yes / >No' Basically a painting for Kirby Fighters 2 with inspiration from other fighting games' game over screens. I do want to make more painting/peices for every Kirby game but for now I should focus on this one. A Super Rough Draft for an original piece of pond in a forest. Text is just "Frog" to describe the little creature. Wanted to make a more 'original' piece that isn't just game related cuz I have a ton of those. Kinda felt like I wasn't making art if it was just aping some other creative work but I eventually got over that. And now I'm super over that since the forced rise of Generarive AI since now people decided it's better to force crutch yourself and now no longer understanding how to walk than learning to run.
