Wow. While we wait for the few remaining ballots to be counted, we feel like we have won this race. The recent drop put us nearly 1,400 votes ahead, just under the .5 percent threshold for a mandatory recount.

lol, my laptop's newest trick is that it will randomly go to sleep while it is plugged in and I am actively using it, but not sleep while unplugged and left alone all day (and drain the entire battery).

Got my ballot reprinted to drop off today. The only difficult decision was County Executive, for the very rare reason that both candidates (Zahilay and Balducci) are good and either way we win.
