Also, mRNA technology doesn't require growing the flu vaccine in chicken eggs; you can just grow it in a bioreactor. And of course, they could vaccinate all the egg laying hens against bird flu, and not have to destroy millions of them like they do in sane countries.

Listening to @twit.tv This Week in Tech and @iainthomson.bsky.social told me something that I had not known…the Australian gun restrictions were effective. The Bondi Beach murderers could only get a shotgun and a non semi-automatic rifle. Which is how hero Ahmed al-Ahmed successfully disarmed one.

A friend survived covid, and he's having new symptoms. It doesn't appear to be POTS because it's not related to posture, but he can be lying down, get brain fog, skin flush and excessive salivation. Also, weakness and confusion afterwards.
