Ignoring the ableism in this post, I know you're a kind woman, Cait. However, Trump and his team are entirely engrossed in their unrealistic ideology. Even their advisors lack plans rooted in material reality.
you have to be genuinely stupid as fuck to think american companies are going to respond to tariffs by building factories and moving manufacturing to the US. i don't know how else to say it. you have to be genuinely braindead

Almost all NOAA Research websites that rely on cloud services - including Amazon, Google and WordPress - are poised to disappear at midnight ET Saturday after a contract was targeted for "early termination." Labs may also feel the effects.

Where did these harsh ICE agents in their black clothes and masks come from, rushing to degrade and mistreat others so callously? It's like something straight out of the Nazi playbook.

Like any valuable technology, it was eventually exploited by those with malicious intent, leading to its deterioration.
i miss the early internet. people were like “you gotta see this dude. this cat sure is long.” and they were right. it was really long. it never shoulda gotten any more complicated than that.
