Mr Rod kindly gave me this Vic 20 themed joystick a while ago, it's wonderfully clicky. I've also got the one on the right, which looks like a dog's dinner but is probably the best joystick I've ever owned. The second fire button can be set as the up direction making platform games a dream to play.

So cheap that the top of the range 20 meg hard drive models for a grand were so popular that Amstrad simply couldn't meet demand. They never expected machines costing so much would sell so well.

An equivalent IBM without an HD was the same price!

I am going to claim full credit for the use of the RJ12 connector on the cable. That worked out really well, and as a bonus, the same cable can plug into a different adapter for the DE-9 userport connector on the BBC Master Compact.
