I held off on playing Scarlet Hollow for ages because I loved Slay the Princess and was weirdly trepidatious about the possibility of not loving @blacktabbygames.com's other work as much. But oh. my. god... I love it more. This thing's a masterpiece.

actually the best thing about romancing wayne is that given certain details now uncovered him being a possessed rotting corpse isn't even the most problematic aspect of being in a relationship with him

on a completely different note i am fascinated to find out what the trigger for the toxic yuri scene is, because i got it on my first playthrough and it severely colored my perception of tabitha but then the other three times i went to her stella did not seem to be there. what did i do wrong/right

one of the many good things about scarlet hollow is that you can cheat on your monster boyfriend (occasionally 10-foot toothy horse-ish thing that eats people) with your other monster boyfriend (possessed rotting corpse), and you get an achievement for it

what's currently up of episode 5 of scarlet hollow is pretty short so i have played it twice and the first one was just a sequence of "hey what" and the second one was half of that followed by "hehe monster boyfriend :)" and taking screencaps of my monster boyfriend so it is more scarlet hollow yeah

hrgh new scarlet hollow update and also star rail update at the same time. star rail update will probably be spoiled for me faster. but i want to play scarlet hollow more. it wouldn't be morally wrong to play scarlet hollow in the time i usually use to work on my game would it. probably not

the night shading obscures a lot of the detail but this took me longer than probably any other image in the game so i want to have it out there for posterity
