Sometimes you *need to* write the same story from a bunch of different angles before you get it right! Sometimes you can't understand how to do something until you try. This is simply how creativity works.
An idea that helped me start creating is that you can, and should, reuse your best ideas. I used to get locked into “Oh I love that idea I should wait until I’m skilled enough to pull it off“ nah just do it, then strip it for parts on what worked the best and do it again
