1 day left to have your Christmas donations matched! I chose DEC's Middle East appeal, the Refugee Council, NEPACS supporting kids to visit parents in prison, Parkinson's Nurses in memory of my mum, and Youth Talk mental health 💕
Good morning! We’re in the final stretch of the #ChristmasChallenge.

There’s still £6m+ in match funds to double your donation, and many charities are so close to their targets.

Doubling ends 12pm tomorrow (or when funds run out).

However, this book 📕 gives case studies & explains how health #inequalities have previously been reduced through policies,it’s not impossible. We must believe that things can get better!

Available to read 🆓 online, but I am 40 so I am excited to be reading a real #book 📚😄

✨New #book day 📚✨

When I proposed my #PhD on #inequalities, some were dismissive, saying it is an insurmountable problem….

And after reading the opening page (that in New Orleans there is a 2️⃣5️⃣ YEAR gap in life expectancy between richest & poorest areas 🏚️💰) I can see why people feel that way….1/2

The Israeli authorities have illegally banned all aid and goods into Gaza for two months.

This constitutes a genocidal act, a blatant form of unlawful collective punishment, and the war crime of using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare.
