On Monday, 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym was shot and killed after getting caught in targeted gunfire in Washington, D.C..
Eric had been serving as an intern for Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kan.) since June and was a rising senior at Umass Amherst.
