Full Page! What if Rory's brother once studied under Hawthorne, and he had to cross paths with him again now that he's taken his brother's place in the world after his death. Tension, Impropriety, and Pettiness abound.

Panel 1: A young man enters, well dressed in edwardian styles, a large manuscript tucked under one arm. They speak first, "Professor Bryony! I was hoping for a moment of your time to submit my first chronicle to the-" The dour man cuts Rory off, "I have no time for frivolous submissions." Panel Two: They stand nearly face to face as the professor continues, "Waste my time further and I'll have you remanded to security." Rory implores, holding the manuscript up, "You haven't got time for the scion of a university patron? The Dunstans are-" Panel 3: Hawthorn glowers as he interrupts again, "And why, pray tell, should I care for work you clearly had your sister write for you, Master Dunstan? It's been years since you stopped needing my tutelage or extra lessons. Or have you tired of whoring yourself out with those wastrel so-called 'adventurers'? You waste your talents with the likes of them. Rory sternly responds, "Because Rhys was my brother, Professor. And you may address me as Captain Rory Dunstan." Panel Four: Hawthorne looks aghast, "Rory?! Gods, why didn't you say something sooner?" Rory angrily points at Hawthorne, "Because YOU still don't let anyone get a word in edgewise, you sanctimonious prick! I have half a mind to go to the provost instead and tell him all about those 'extra lessons' of yours." Hawthorne quietly, but seriously tries to bring the temperature down, "Now, let's not be hasty, Rory." Rory practically spits, "Oh, fuck you, creep." Panel Five: A manuscript and fluttering pages hits the floor. Panel Six: Hawthorne has Rory by the wrist, awkwardly twisting his arm, leaving them in a brief stalemate physically. Hawthorne scowls, "Do not mistake me, girl. My contrition is purely a matter of professional and social grace." Rory scowled right back, "Call me a girl again and I'll feed you your teeth." Hawthorne sighed, "You have twice your brother's wit and half his charm." "Now who's wasting who's time?" "Watch your tongue, Captain."

I finished “Dragon Moonbathing”. I like it.
“Dragon Moonbathing” - A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing of an orange sea dragon with yellow scaled swimming wings, sitting on a rock in the ocean. It is night, and there is a large moon silhouetting the dragon’s head. One forepaw is crossed over the other, and their very long tail is twisted and curled on the rock below them. The dragon, facing right, has no back legs, only webbed forepaws and swimming wings. Their head is tilted, so that their pupil reflects light like a cat. Their scales are dotted with gold, their wings are edged with gold, and the reflected moonlight is outlined on their wing and body scales in silver. The sea is dark grey-blue, the sky is deep night blue. No stars; the dragon is the star. Inspiration: Anton Seder crocodile and lizard monster, but mainly the crocodile.

Some personal art for a change; a celebratory staple for the ancient Dillokin household, the Carmelized Tukiki Cake! Baked much like a Dutch Oven, and presented much like a Flan, this dish tastes much like a Sweet Potato Pie, with a glaze somewhere between molasses and maple syrup.

Time to leaf
A six panel comic, three rows of two panels each. Every panel shows Dipper the corgi sitting beneath a tree as the leaves fall. But the leaves fall out of the tree in the second panel, across the entire page, and onto the tree in the fifth panel. So by the sixth panel, the tree is full of leaves again. This is very confusing both to Dipper and to a squirrel that is in the tree.
