My partner has weaponized communism against me (for my own benefit).

Now whenever I'm pushing my disabled ass too hard, I hear his voice in my head "FROM EACH ACCORDING TO THEIR ABILITY" and then I rest my body to make Marx proud.

When you actually think about how many issues are tied to disability you never think about, it’s intentional.

Christ Almighty. We haven't even had primaries, and political survey pollsters are already calling Rob Transphobe Sand the Democratic nominee for Iowa governor.

The DNC is refusing to let the people pick their candidates. They know we want progressives and they obviously can't let us have that.

This whole "mosques offering baby formula" discourse is exhausting. It highlights how few people are actually involved in any meaningful community building or mutual aid. *OF COURSE* the mosques (and black churches) offered baby formula and the white churches did not.

Becoming a full-time cripple has given me so much free time to get involved and do what I can to help people less fortunate than myself.

Of course, so much of the activist sphere ignores the issue of disability in this context, and has no game plan for accommodating disabled activists.

A man with no criminal record being cuffed and abducted at work, in the middle of a busy grocery/eatery, near lunch time, in the "walkable" district.

By people who wouldn't even identify which federal agency they worked for.

This is political theater.

Bothers me when people discuss Left movements in the U.S. w/out underscoring the GENERATIONS of repression, surveillance, violence directed at movements. The "Left" is so disorganized is used as a joke but I hardly ever see those same people saying 'THE LEFT WAS TARGETED & DISORGANIZED by the STATE'

It needs to be said that by rebranding Charlie Kirk's views as moderate by both right wingers and liberal cowards resets the extremist views he held as normal and pushes the Overton window to the far right

Does everyone understand now that "Defund the Police" was the *moderate* proposal?
In new filing, plaintiff "DA," removed to Ghana, whence US officials allegedly told him he'll be taken to Nigeria despite a court order against sending him there, describes previous beatings in Nigeria with planks, iron rods & machetes & days in dog cage.

I'm not sure if people have really absorbed this week's lesson of how the mainstream political establishment is ready to justify and go along with a massive crackdown on any left political expression.

Of course the guy who (allegedly) shot Kirk was a neo Nazi. You can always be sure once the dust settles that the Ouroboros eats itself. Cycles and structures dependent on violence will eventually enact violence on themselves.
