I'd really like to see "through bike lane" intersection deprecated in favor of protected intersections. This guidance seems to put a lot of faith in the power of dotted vs solid lines: nacto.org/publication/...

Drivers never seem to have difficulty finding parking in Coolidge Corner. There's almost always room in the bike lane or bus stop. Failing that, they can just put their hazards on and stop in the middle of the road. 🚲🌃
