KIRO 7 ran an article and two TV pieces on the theft of a box truck full of arcade PCBs, artwork, and machines from my workplace yesterday. If anyone in the Seattle area sees someone offloading a ton of CPS2/NAOMI/Neo Geo PCBs, stuff of that nature, please reach out.

It looks identical to an OK Baby, minus the ashtrays and label.

This Big Blue showed up on FB Marketplace. No marquee, no screen, broken front glass, butchered control panel, no wiring or PCB, not even a PSU. Even the wood needs work, but I guess I could fill the gashes with bondo? At least it has speakers and a coin door. $60, to buy or not to buy?

Sometimes you receive a commission so powerful, you could stare at it for hours.

Thank you @hiimbleep.bsky.social for this vision.

OK Baby is finally repainted. I guess it doesn't look perfect, but at least it isn't yellow anymore.

Going to try muting a shit ton of political names and phrases to protect my own sanity.

So apparently Weche (creator of the OK Baby arcade cabinet) is still in business. Here's what I assume to be it's successor model, the QQ Baby.

So Google's apparently trying to restrict sideloading now? So only approved apps can be run on Android phones? Or in other words, I bought a Pixel for fucking nothing?

As much as I love seeing the cool arcade stuff here, I might need to stop using this website. Having all the horrors of the world beamed directly to my feed is going to be the death of me.

So Oculus basically killed the Quest 1, and now it is only really good for PCVR. Any jailbreaks/telemetry disabling? Surely without support, somebody could figure out a way to crack it.

Posting these images here for safekeeping. I took measurements of this decal from the Galaxian 3 cabinet. There are five more that are similar in design, but are different in color, number, and cursor shape. I will probably try to redraw them. More pictures will be posted soon.

The Galaxian 3 at Fun World is unfortunately experiencing technical issues not unusual of a 30+ year old machine. To avoid disappointment, I recommend holding off on any road trips to play the machine for now until the problem is resolved.

@philbennett3d.bsky.social I hear rumors that there is a Galaxian 3 arcade emulator in development. Do you know anything about this?
