we might've talked about it before but I hold that rules in RPGs split into basically three categories (per Fine, '83, and Montola, '08):
1. exogenous. rules of the table, as humans.
2. endogenous. rules of the book, as players.
3. diegetic. rules of the world, as characters

My son works for NASA at the John Glenn facility in Ohio. His team has been completely gutted and he's been put on a one year term contract. This was pre-shutdown.

Sad to hear about the passing of the Michelangelo of Movie posters, RENATO CASARO. The Man painted so many iconic posters, specially in the 70s/80s: CONAN, TERMINATOR, DUNE, TOTAL RECALL, DANCE WITH THE WOLVES, BLOW OUT, FLASH GORDON, RAMBO, NEVER-ENDING STORY, and the list goes on and on. 1/2
