Two simple* ways to stop being a cog in the fascist machine in 2026:
1. Leave substack. They fund Nazis. Don’t write, read, or subscribe. Use Ghost, Beehiiv, &c.
2. Wear an n95 in public to protect vulnerable groups & those with less ability or access to resources to recover. Give/get mutual aid:

Great advice, enthusiastically seconding this.
I spent a lot of time hating my own body when I was younger, comments from friends, family, magazines that told me I wasn’t thin enough. Movies that act like being a size 10-12 was “hideous” and “obese”, I was a perfectly healthy size. I wasn’t anorexic which is what they wanted, watch Ally McBeal.

This reflective acrylic sheet shows how 1980s illustrators were able to trace real-life objects on the computer. Once it was aligned, it reflected whatever was in front of it over the monitor's display, allowing artists to trace it in a tool like MacPaint or MS Paint. Simple, low tech and effective.
