I would love to see military mothers and wives unite to make a powerful, public statement.
Military mom here: fire every one of the assholes who endangered the lives of American troops with a Signal chat.

This is fantastic!
I can’t remember where I read this, but it’s important:

Why is it that when people think about traveling to the past, they worry about doing something small that will drastically change the present, but no one in the present thinks that doing something small today can drastically change the future?

She’s incredibly strong, more so than I could ever be. What an inspiring example!
New on MSNBC: Vice President Harris will fly back to Los Angeles today with an all-female U.S. Air Force crew — the first time an all-female crew has operated a C-33.

Upon landing, Harris will visit a local fire station and then distribute food to community members impacted by the wildfires.

It looks like an upgraded version of the original Switch—exactly what I was hoping for! I can't wait!

I've always been suspicious of the Scoobies. They travel everywhere with no obvious source of income.
I like Saturday morning cartoon characters because relatively few of them are revealed to be sex pests or Russian assets.

That's a lot of words just to say you're a grass muncher! /lh
made cabbage with sausage over rice for dinner tonight. cabbage remains such a world-beater. accounting in equal parts for flavor, versatility, and value, it's easily a top-tier vegetable, and although it may not necessarily be the best vegetable it should absolutely be in the conversation

Some Puerto Ricans felt insulted, while others simply shrugged it off.

Expressing ourselves with words can be challenging.
The same dudes who fetishize the supposed lost strength and competence of their forefathers want computers to write their emails for them.

These are my Marimo moss balls. Unbothered. Moisturized. In their jar. I think they’re happy.

The same people claiming "gay people went too far after marriage" or "trans people went too far by becoming visible" are simply trying to justify their own hatred. In today's world, those justifications are increasingly irrelevant.
Absolutely hate “we went too far” revisionist history. “We all believed women and it went too far.” No we did not all believe women. I was there

Found a lovely Alsace Riesling at Lidl for about 4€ a bottle. Great wine, but the person who served me wasn't very pleasant.
Recommended a Riesling to a customer and she said she "doesn't buy German wine, because, you know, WWII".

Reader, she ended up buying an Italian wine.

Why is it that Hegseth talks over women, long after the point where it's even arguably acceptable, and argues with them like he's asking the questions, not the other way around? He can say whatever he wants, but it's clear he doesn't respect women or even the offices they hold.

My friend used to secretly add some weed to his mom's Sunday gravy. Only we knew why Sundays were so amazing, lol.
Beware! Could be a gateway to lasagna or, even worse, ravioli.
