Measles is one of those nightmare diseases that, if it hadn't been killing people for hundreds of years, people would ABSOLUTELY be pushing conspiracy theories about right now. It's too nasty in too many different directions to seem natural. But oh, boy, it sure is.

If you think that you can take a bad ideology and "do it right", you really need to check your Hubris. In a most instances, the "bad bits" are features; not bugs. Examples include Logic Bros who think they could do Eugenics right and Trans Inclusive Radical Feminism. No. Just No.

We should tax and otherwise regulate billionaires out of existence
Private persons and companies should not own islands.
We should ban lobbying and other ways to bribe politicians and officials. Those who offend, should forfeit all their assets.

Historically, Harems and other forms of polygyny existed due to wealth disparity plus Patriarchy. It is something powerful men invented and forced / coerced girls & women into. Women given the choice choose mutual (serial) monogamy, being single or polyamory. We can literally observe this.

I was about 8 when I first learned about Freud's Oedipus complex. I called BS right away. Freud conveniently claimed that all children go through this, but magically forget after they turn 3 or so. This made his claims unfalsifiable. Sadly, we still accept a lot unproven claims about children.

Any woman or girl can tell you that masculinity gurus, pickup artists, incels and other hardcore misogynists could not be more wrong if they tried. These men do not see women as fully human and attribute downright absurd motives to whatever choices women make.

Most legislation to protect minors online comes down to socially isolating minors from peers. These measures actively hurt disabled children, LGBTQ youth and neurodivergent minors. This makes them more vulnerable.
