If you equate expertise in survival with current resilience, you will break people. I've survived so much, built up a pretty impressive attitude & I'm good at faking function, but it's hollowed me out. I'm so fragile.

I don't believe the media makes a habit of identifying cis shooters as cisgendered, so I'm not sure why it's relevant to identify a trans shooter as trans.
