Years ago I changed the lyrics to "Baby, It's Cold Outside" to eliminate the sexual undertones. Just one singer that wants to go outside and the other singer doesn't. I haven't tested whether the lyric's syllable count needs to be adjusted here or there to fit the music.

This is the current GOP. They are hypocritical brown nosers. I've suspected that a number of them are being blackmailed or physically threatened against them stepping out of line. It's how my brain explains such a turnaround. Vance, however, is just doing whatever it takes for the power.
