Destroying NATO to acquire Greenland when Denmark, formerly close ally, would have worked with us in just about every way possible to increase our defenses there in voluntary arrangements is an absurdity beyond absurdities.

In my ignorance on the matter, I was thinking that they want Greenland because it's an easy way to get fresh water for cooling data centers. Push back on building data centers is increasing in the US, so…. Crypto-state is just the pretext for building an AI-controlled dystopia.

Pretext for Venezuela was drugs. Pretext for Greenland is National security. But both are about money and power. Venezuela is actually about oil. Greenland is about all that fresh glacial water and minerals. Greenland also might be about controlling both ends of the now open arctic shipping lane.

If Greenland is actually surrounded by Russian and Chinese ships, taking Greenland would mean going head to head militarily with those two nuclear weapons states. That would be insane. I think Trump is lying about the ships. Just like he lied about Venezuela being a major player in drug trafficking.

Since when has the American government—especially a Republican administration—wanted a country's wealth to go to its people? If they truly mean that, why are they cutting public services such as Medicaid? Smoke and mirrors.
