When I was a kid growing up in So Cal, I remember there were 100, maybe fewer of these birds left in the wild. Thanks to the efforts of @oregonzoo.bsky.social , there are now 347 of these marvelous, giant dinosaurs flying in the wild. This is some good news.
Egg-cellent news! 15 California condor eggs have been laid so far at our wildlife conservation center, and more could be on the way.
