The negative impact of ICE activity on children has yet to be studied. Trauma is what happens INSIDE the human body when a person is faced with overwhelming circumstances; causes the nervous system to respond in a heightened way to future events; and even affects unborn babies. It needs to stop.

Gabbard's presence at the Georgia ballot heist could have been her initiation rite into a higher-level "gang." Like the punk who held up my daughter and husband gun point. A week later, police found my daughter's purse in a nearby field. So pay attention to where those ballots wind up.

To me, it seems our Democratic leaders don't understand the urgency Americans are feeling. From the story: "... there is no way that Democrats should sign onto DHS funding until Customs and Border Protection and ICE personnel are completely gone from Minneapolis."

"The Democrats are pushing reforms that they know won’t work because they are doing performative, perfunctory opposition to try to quiet their base, instead of real legislating and fighting to dismantle Trump’s ICE and CBP." newrepublic.com/article/2059...
Senate Democrats’ ICE Proposals Are a Huge and Inexcusable Whiff
Their opening bid should have been eight or 10 bold proposals. But as usual, the Democrats start by negotiating with themselves.

This beautiful human being is a Montessori teacher. To do this requires training in one of the most gentle, caring and child-centered teaching methods in the world. And for trying to take a clothing donation to a church, they shot her 7 times, detained her, and let her go. youtu.be/bkRJUwaofss?...

Getting out in front of anything requires preparation, whether it's a math test, having a baby, or an election. It takes a willingness to swap complacency for focus, and letting in that crack of light.

In Colorado, Grand Junction HS athletes "across multiple sports" were not allowed to compete on Saturday because they participated in Friday's walkout, which was part of the nation-wide walkout protesting ICE violence against immigrants and citizens alike. Why don't we just stop teaching US history?

A friend asked me why I would no longer meet with her. Truth is, she was self-absorbed and our meetings were becoming too painful to bear. Such people don't care about wasting your time. They lack the ability to self-reflect and are terrible listeners. Such is the futility of arguing with MAGAs.

Why is it important to read the work of the late psychologist Alice Miller? Because she can help us understand how causing trauma to children perpetuates the psychological groundwork for violence, authoritarianism, war, mental illness, and systemic cruelty. famouspsychologists.net/alice-miller...

My grandfather was an illegal alien for 14 years: 1926-1940. Not once did an INS agent push him to the ground. Not once did they beat and handcuff him, or pack him off to detention. Not once was he deported. He had due process. And when his reprieves ran out, he wrote a letter to FDR. And here I am.

In her book, Caste, The Origin of Our Discontents, author Isabel Wilkerson aptly compares the unleashing of hatred in America during Trump's 2016 campaign to the release of Anthrax in the Siberian tundra caused by a long buried, infected reindeer rising to the surface during an unprecedented thaw.

Open letter to our Senators:

Gentlemen, Ladies, we don't really care about ICE not getting even more funding. We don't care about more "training" and more rules they won't follow.

We want ICE de-funded. Dismantled. Gone. Driven out of our cities.
