Rep. Nellie Pou (D-N.J.) with one of the grimmest questions of this hearing, to ICE chief Lyons:

"Will you provide us with a list of people ICE has transferred from New Jersey to other states, so I can inform their families where they are?"

Lyons says yes.

Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.): "Do you consider yourself a religious man?"

Lyons: "Yes ma'am."

McIver: "How do you think Judgement Day will work for you with so much blood on your hands?"

"Do you think you're going to hell, Mr. Lyons?"

No way will I attend the White House dinner with this President.

I’m standing with @govwesmoore.bsky.social and @colorado.gov — and standing against Trump’s corruption and hatred.

And I’m calling on my Republican colleagues to do the same.
Democratic governors to boycott White House dinner
More than a half dozen Democrats said Donald Trump disinviting two of their colleagues is the latest example of administration's 'chaos and division.'

Peter Mandelson's official role in Gordon Brown's government was actually not that far away from his unauthorised dealings with Jeffrey Epstein. This week's column digs up some inconvenient truths and suggests the problem is much deeper than we're told.

There is a lot of convenient amnesia about Peter Mandelson’s New Labour days. Let’s jog some memories | George Monbiot
Yes, he betrayed the national interest in his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein – but also in his sanctioned role as enabler of corporate power, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Donald Trump must be removed from office. Period.
Rep Raskin reports he reviewed the full unredacted Epstein Files & Trump's name appears MORE THAN A MILLION TIMES.

We knew of 38K times—meaning we know of only ~3% of Trump's involvement with a convicted child sexual abuser & sex trafficker.

Anyone still unwilling to impeach & remove is complicit.

Great powers do not ask for security guarantees, they give them. The fact we are asking for them proves we are not one.

This might be evidence to treat us accordingly.

Russia wanted to be invited to join NATO, not to apply. Applying is for little countries & is beneath us. We also wanted to have an excuse to liberate other members from themselves by turning NATO into a defensive alliance that attacks itself.

Which is what the Warsaw pact was.
Did you somehow forget that Russia attempted to join NATO too? There’s some irony. 🙄

That’s right - now it turns out Russia also needs “security guarantees” for itself, too.

Presumably so that the world’s largest nuclear power with the 3rd biggest war budget, the 10th largest economy, and a territory spanning 11 time zones, won’t be conquered by the evil Ukrainians.
