In my garden this morning I had a lovely companion - a korimako. Later, at the botanic gardens a Kereru feasted on nectar in a bush just a meter from me & a quail ran under a bush in front of me.

But then at Ilex there was this bully who almost took my lunch out of my mouth.

The original recipe from early 1970, whiskey eventually substituted with Grand Marnier, & cake fed with more every couple of weeks up until a week or so before Christmas Day.
